To recall, Garena had introduced the Maro character alongside Xayne as part of the OB27 World Series update. Yesterday, we saw the announcement of the Crystal Cube event and today it is time to know about the Falconer Top Up event.

Free Fire the Falconer Top Up event: how to get Maro character

Free Fire, in a tweet, announced that the Falconer Top Up event is being held from May 18th to May 24th, 2021. As part of this event, Free Fire players will be able to unlock the Maro character using in-game top-up. The developer claims that the Maro character is here to turn the “battlefield upside down”. So, if you really want to know what Maro's character is capable of then here is how you can unlock the character first.

Technically, the Maro character is available for free but in order to claim it, you need to top-up diamonds. In other words, you top-up diamonds to unlock the character and then spend those diamonds somewhere else. Garena notes that players will have to top-up at least 200 diamonds to get the Maro character. If you top up at least 500 diamonds then you will get Maro’s Falconer bundle. Here is how it works:

Launch the Free Fire game on your smartphone.

Click on the Diamond icon located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

Maro was released in Free Fire along with Xayne in the OB27 World Series update. However, Maro was not accessible to players in-game.

• As mentioned earlier, players can get the Maro character at no cost via the Falconer Top Up event. The event requires players to top up 200 diamonds. And as soon as they top up 200 diamonds from the store, users will be able to claim the Maro character for free.

Maro possesses a passive ability called Falcon Fervor. This ability's base level (level 1) increases damage over distance by up to 5%. The damage dealt with tagged enemies is also increased by 1%.

Falcon Fervor, at its highest level (level 6), enhances the damage over distance by 25%. Meanwhile, damage done to marked enemies increases by 3.5%.
