Realme MagDart Teased To Offer 66W Magnetic Wireless Charging Speed

Realme is bringing the first Android smartphone with magnetic charging on August 3. It is expecting to be a magnetic wireless charging solution from a brand similar to Apple MagSafe. Moreover, recent leaks two Realme MagDart chargers in rendered images and through official-looking posters. In addition, the company today hinted at the charging speed and the design of these chargers.

From the looks of the teaser, it looks like the brand is taking a dig at Apple’s MagSafe. According to Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth, it will be 440 per cent faster. However, it didn’t mention one crucial thing — faster than what. Although the only thing they can compare it with is Apple MagSafe it is safe to assume Realme MagDart is comparing it to this.

Now, the Apple MagSafe has a 15W charging speed. So, it means that the Realme MagDart will have a 66W charging speed. This will make it the fastest magnetic wireless charging technology in the world. This is the first time we see a confirmation of the leak from earlier this month that there’ll also be a thin variant. However, it would be unreasonable to assume the 440% charging speeds (66W) are for the tiny charger. Realme MagDart wireless charging technology will likely be compatible with phones that integrate MagDart tech only.

According to the previous leak, the Realme MagDart will be offered in two variants. One of them will be slim, while the other will be larger in size. However, an earlier leak suggests that the MagDart thinner version will be sleeker compared to Apple’s MagSafe. This thinner version will apparently offer 15W magnetic wireless charging support. On the other hand, the second MagDart charger as mentioned will be larger in size. It will offer high wireless charging rates than the current modern wired fast charging tech. The second model will feature a USB-C port for the power supply and will have vents for maintaining the airflow. Moreover, it is tipped to deliver charging speeds of over 15W and leaks claim that it will be the fastest magnetic charger in the world.
