Realme introduced the 64GB storage version of the Realme 8 5G smartphone in India. The handset was announced in variants like 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage in April. With the arrival of the newly announced 64GB model, the Realme 8 5G has become the most affordable 5G phone in India.

The Realme 8 5G offers a high refresh rate display, a 5G-ready chipset, and a massive battery with fast charging support. For photography, it features a 48-megapixel quad-camera system.
Realme 8 5G 4GB + 64GB variant price and sale date
The existing variants of the Realme 8 5G such as 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage are priced at Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. The newly introduced 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version of the smartphone is priced at Rs 13,999.

The 64GB edition of the Realme 8 5G will go on sale at 12pm on May 18th through Realme India’s online store and Flipkart. It can be bought in colours like Supersonic Black and Supersonic Blue.
Realme 8 5G specifications and features
The Realme 8 5G has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole screen comes with Dragon Trail Glass protection. The Density 700 chipset fuels the smartphone with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. For more storage, it has a dedicated microSD card slot.
The handset ships with Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11. It has a 16MP selfie camera and its rear camera setup has a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The 5,000mAh battery of the phone supports 18W fast charging.
